Trend Report: Clear / Transparent Clutches

Clear clutches first took over the fashion world when designers like Valentino and Simone Rocha showed off their stunning summer collections last year, full of transparent, bright neon beauties and unique bags.
Then came the celebrity following, with the likes of Solange Knowles & her fluro orange transparent clutch, and most recently, Bella Thorne with her bright yellow jelly bag at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. Since then, the trend really took off to a whole new level, and now everyone seems to be carrying a clear clutch of some sort.

To be honest, I really love this trend, there is no denying, I'm all for unique things and I love feasting my eyes on all the different creations, BUT, I'm a bit annoyed at the fact that I bought 2 gorgeous clear bags - one last year & one 2 years ago, when it wasn't so trendy to wear one yet, and now all of the sudden it's almost a crime if you don't have one!
But hey, that's fashion. Trends come & go, and change like a whirlwind! Overall, I'm just happy to be able to buy even more clear bags, because now it doesn't matter which store you walk into, you'll sure be able to find a clear clutch or a jelly bag!

I sure couldn't stand the temptation - I gave in immediately after spotting ZARA's clear pieces.
The first day they came out in stores, I jumped at the chance & bought this beauty!
I especially like it, because you can take out the striped inside if you want & just wear it as a completely clear clutch bag! And, the best thing of it all is - you can even change the striped inside, if you have a similar sized small pouch or wallet, just swap it & you're ready to go! One bag, but so many possibilities!

Box shaped, jelly, crystal embellished, fluorescent neon colours, studded, striped, half & half, these are just some of the many designs you can find on the market!
Which one's your favorite?!

I'm really loving the embellished ones. I might as well do a DIY post soon & bling mine up a little either with stones, or studs! Yessss!

If you're not sure where to get your hands on one, I'll help you out a little!
These are all cheaper alternatives to the originals, such as the Charlotte Olympia Perspex clutches:
These 5 lovelies are all from my favorite high-street store, ZARA.
If you're after one, I'd say be quick, because they are selling fast!
Now, if you can't find the ZARA ones anywhere, or if you just prefer this one more, then head to Stradivarius, where you can get your hands on this beauty!
And finally, these soft jelly-like versions, from Bershka! It also comes in a fully clear, transparent colour. Yay!
